Blogging

Blogging is a wonderful way to keep families involved and up to date about daily events in the classroom. One of my goals as a teacher is to create a classroom website or blog. I think it is the perfect way to showcase our hard work in second grade. I would use this website to post our weekly special schedule, our special days, the homework, and daily reminders. I would share what we are learning and suggestions for what skills to work on at home. I could share links to resources and websites online. I would also upload photos that I take and showcase the student's work. I also love the idea of having the students create posts and pick items they would like to add to our class blog. 
Now that I have been giving the nudge to start one I would love to use it this year.
